Those who know me well, know that I’m not the best when it comes to styling my hair – I need all the professional help I can get! That’s why I loooove a trip to the salon, to tame my locks and try to learn a few trade secrets that I can continue at home! When the team at L’Oréal Professionnel asked if I’d like to try the new ‘me’ salon at Claremont Quarter, I jumped at the opportunity! The service was outstanding and the results did not disappoint.
I love everything about the new retail hub that has established itself in the old Myer building in Fremantle. Cleverly calling themselves Myre, (I love the nod to Aussie linguistics) a collection of talented local designers and artists have set up shop on the ground floor of the enormous building, creating an exciting and diverse retail location. In the months to come, the entire complex will be opened, with workshop space in the upper floors (where shoppers can watch creations being made) and live in-store demonstrations. I had a wander through with my little sister on Sunday, and we were both so impressed with what was on offer.
Times Square Claremont is one of the best kept retail secrets in the western suburbs. An oasis of WA designer labels and covetable international fashion, Times Square Claremont has something for everyone. Nestled amongst the leafy trees of Avion way, the precinct has an air of privacy and exclusivity (but not in an intimidating way). You can wander from store to store without the bustling crowds and elbow-jabbers of other retail areas. Last week, Times Square showcased its retail talents with a Spring/Summer Fashion Launch which included a cocktail reception (complete with Thai horderves and lolly bar) and two runway shows.
