Just a quick outfit post to show off the 100% silk Scanlan and Theodore dress that I picked up for $100 at Dress Circle the other day! The moment I laid eyes on this dress I knew it would be perfect for a beach-side fashion event, and so of course I couldn’t resist a sneaky purchase with the Karrinyup Swim and Resort Breakfast looming. The pine/leather clogs from Zara (on sale for $20 if you don’t mind! and this embellished clutch I picked up at the boutique on Rottnest Island last time I holidayed there were the perfect accompaniments to my new favourite flowy silk dress.

Karrinyup Swim Resort 2015

Lately, the renovation on my first home has gone into overdrive. I have been spending every weekend at the house, carting bricks, mopping floors and painting walls. So when Karrinyup Shopping Centry invited me to a showcase of their swimwear a resort collections at the Rendezvous Hotel in Scarborough, I was beyond glad to frock up and spend some time off the construction site! Celebrating the late onset of Summer in Perth, Karrinyup invited a group of Perth bloggers and media to a breakfast fashion showcase before taking the parade to the sand, treating Scarborough beach-goers to a pop up fashion show filled with colour and laughter.

What’s in store at Nells Emporium

Rounding the corner onto Mosman Park’s leafy Glyde Street last weekend, I sighed an internal sigh of relief to have escaped the relative hustle and bustle of Stirling Highway. I wouldn’t call myself a nervous driver, but crossing four lanes of relentless traffic always leaves me a little shaken. A few metres past the intersection and the highway is all but forgotten as the rows of unique shops and wine bars lend an air of refined relaxation – a vibe I could definitely get used to! A few moments later, Jana and I pulled up out the front Nells Emporium, excited to sample all the different elements that make up this enchanting little fashion boutique / homewares store / cafe / jazz house (yep you read right, Nells is all these things and more!).
