After reading countless forums and blog posts about DIY renovators’ experiences with IKEA kitchens, I have come across some news that has totally shaken up my kitchen renovation plans: IKEA is completely changing their kitchen range in April 2015, and the new range will not be compatible with the current range! Not only that, but the new designs seem sleeker, more customisable and generally more desirable than the current range, which would be great if I could wait six months…. such bad timing!
Kitchen Planning is in full swing over at Cobine St, and I can’t believe how stressful it is!! I am so paranoid about making the wrong decision, and it doesn’t help that everyone I’ve consulted so far seems to have a different opinion. Adding to the stress, I am planning to move the kitchen, knocking down an internal structural wall to create an open plan dining/kitchen/living space. I can hear the audible screams of experienced renovators from here; I know it’s going to be a nightmare! I’m just hoping that once it’s finished the 10 metre flow through from the front door straight out onto an outdoor entertainment area will make it all worth while…

I can’t resist a casual throw-on outfit. There’s nothing quite like your favourite pair of jeans, an oversized tee and a pair of sneakers. I also couldn’t resist these slip-on Marc by Marc Jacobs sneakers, how can you say no to that adorable boston face?!
